My Blog's Outro

An outro means to conclude. Most YouTubers create outros for the end of their videos.
So, that's what I'm doing here today, I'm making an outro for my blog.
This is the last blog post that I'll be making. I hope you've enjoyed the posts that I've made and I hope you've learned a little from each one.
Image result for learning
Throughout my blog, I hope you've learned what YouTube is, and how it changes millions of lives. I hope you've appreciated the tips I gave about Youtubers to subcribe to, as well as the different types of YouTube videos. I hope that my blog gave you the courage and the inspiration you might have been lacking to make a YouTube account and to start posting videos. Most importantly, I hope you've realized that YouTube is more than just a website, it's a community filled with people who love doing what they're doing. It's filled with people who want to reach out to others and spread a smile on their face. It's a community where everybody is welcome.

I recommend YouTube to everyone. Although, to those who are younger, I advise permission from a parent since there are a few steps to follow in order to stay safe on YouTube. So, what are you waiting for? Start watching videos that inspire you, make you laugh, help you to spark your creativity, help you to learn, and even more. You could even start by making a YouTube channel, in order to offer those types of videos to others. Image the impact you could have on a viewer's life.

Thank you to all of you who've commented on my blog posts, giving me suggestions, advice, and compliments. I've taken all of your words into heart and I've gladly improved my blog along the way. I'm sorry this blog had to end so soon - until next time!

The different types of YouTube Videos - collab channels

Hey guys! Today I'll be talking about one last type of video on YouTube - collabs!
Collab videos are shared between two or more people. Lots of YouTubers love to invite guests (some of them being other popular YouTubers) on their channel to be present in one of their videos. Together, they could do any video they would like: the topics are endless! When I watch YouTube collab videos, the two YouTubers tend to do exciting challenges together like the Chubby Bunny Challenge, the 7 Second Challenge, the Cotton Ball Challenge, the Whisper Challenge, or the Best Friend/Boyfriend Tag. I love watching these types of videos because they're very funny and entertaining.

One of my favourite challenge videos was the "Stuff Your Mouth" challenge by Zoella and Thatcher Joe (whom I've mentioned in one of my previous blog posts). In my opinion, the video is hilarious - it made me cry because I was laughing so hard. Their video currently has 4,036,815 views! Here's the video clip if you'd like to watch it:
Have you ever heard of collab channels? A collab channel is a channel on YouTube that is shared between roughly 5 members. Each person has an assigned day of the week where they post one video ever week on that day. Which means, by the end of each week, there would be 5 new videos on the channel. I believe a lot of people like collab channels for that reason: they're always able to watch new content within a short period of time. One of the collab channels I used to watch very often was Our2ndlife's channel, which consisted of Kian Lawley, JC Caylen, Trevor Moran, Sam Potorff, and Ricky Dillon (Connor Franta and Ricardo Ordieres are past members of the O2L family). They have recently decided to stop making new videos on the Our Second Life channel because their lives are becoming busier. Although, all of their past videos are still available to watch on their channel. Here's a link to their channel if you'd like to check out some of their old videos :

Thanks for reading this blog post, I hope you've enjoyed it!

The different types of YouTube Videos - Vloggers

Hey, welcome back! Today I'm going to be talking about another type of video people post on YouTube - a vlog! What is a vlog, you may ask? A vlog is literally a video blog. It's where YouTubers can video tape anything they want, in relation to no matter what. For example, if I were to take this blog, The Wonders Of YouTube, and speak the words that I've written in front of a camera, it would be categorized as a vlog on YouTube.
Some YouTubers like to vlog fun experiences in their life to show to their subscribers. In example, going on a cruise, taking a vacation with their friends, going to a music festival, meeting an idol, or going to an award show could all be made into vlogs. Although, some people like to vlog in a more creative way.
The ones who tend to vlog creatively pick subjects in which their opinion can be portrayed to the world about a certain subject. For example, some YouTubers love to vlog in the form of rant videos, sketches, or music videos to entertain their subscribers while presenting a subject or trend they are familiar with.

A lot of vloggers also like to simply sit in front of the camera and talk about world wide issues or about what is going on in their life. I believe that the majority of people like to watch these types of vlog videos because they could be a spark of inspiration or could be easy to relate to. A YouTuber speaking about his/her personal experience with bullying could be a strong inspiration for those struggling with bullying while watching the vlog.

Most famous YouTubers like Bethany Mota, ThatcherJoe, Zoella, MayBaby, Tanya Burr,  Tyler Oakley, Tanya Burr, Jennxpenn, and more, have 2 separate channels on YouTube. One channel they would call their 'main channel' and the other would be strictly for vlog videos. Therefore, they normally have a set schedule for posting on their main channel (like a new video every Tuesday and Sunday) and they have their vlog channel for when they want to post on certain occasions.
In my opinion, vlogs are very entertaining and I tend to watch all sorts of different vlogs that catch my eye.

The different types of YouTube Videos - Beauty Gurus

Hey guys! Sorry it's been such a long time since I've posted! Good news though, I'm back on track! In the next few blog posts, I will be talking about the different types of YouTube videos that exist on YouTube. Today's blog post will be on beauty.

Makeup Product Photography Tumblr Makeup Products PhotographyThere are tons and tons of people on YouTube who adore all things beauty and who teach people about the world of beauty and fashion - this is what we call a "beauty Guru". Beauty Gurus can do all sorts of videos like make-up tutorials, nail designs, hair tutorials, hauls, skincare videos, fashion videos, and monthly favourites. Personally, I don't watch very many YouTube videos created by Beauty Gurus because I'm not into all things beauty or fashion. Sometimes I like to watch some videos pertaining to Beauty Gurus if I need inspiration. For example, although I'm not into make-up, I do love doing my nails from time to time. On days where I want to spend lots of time doing my nails to make them look really cool, I tend to look up nail tutorial videos made by Beauty Gurus to expand my creativity. A while back, I've painted my nails by using a water marble technique that I discovered while watching a Beauty Gurus video (sorry I don't remember whose). Although, I've always wanted to do ombré/gradiant nails because I've seen so many videos on how to do them and they look amazing. Here's a video done by "MissJenFABULOUS" on how to do ombré/gradiant nails if you were interested :

I don't mind watching hair tutorials either. I love doing my hair but sometimes it just takes lots of time and dedication to do a beautiful hairstyle. So, on the rare occasions when I have enough time and energy to do my hair, I'll look at some videos to try and recreated different styles. For my hair, I normally watch videos done by "Cute Girls Hairstyles". It's a channel on YouTube that has a wide range of videos explaining how to recreate different hairstyles using easy steps. One of my favorite videos on their channel is how to do the Dutch Flower Braid, which I've tried to do on many of my friends' hair and it turned out pretty good. Here's the video explaining how to do this wonderful and surprisingly easy hairstyle:

That's it for today's blog post. I hope you check out the two videos above and get inspired to recreate many different nail designs or hair designs. Also, I hope you've learned a little more about Beauty Gurus and the videos they add to the YouTube community. If you have a passion for beauty and fashion, why not become a Beauty Guru on YouTube?

Favourite YouTubers - TheEllenShow

Hey guys! Thanks for coming back to see another one of my suggestions for YouTubers to watch. I really hope you enjoy my blog so far, please feel free to comment down below any suggestions or modifications you'd love to see. Going back to this post's topic, my choice for today is TheEllenShow.

So I know what you might be thinking : "what is she talking about? TheEllenShow is clearly a television show.", and you're completely correct. Although, did you know that Ellen also has a YouTube channel where her crew posts clips from her show every time she hosts one? The channel is very popular ranking around 11,566,152 subscribers. Her channel is very efficient for me because when I get home from school, I do not have much time to sit down and watch a full episode of the Ellen Show. I love the show in general for so many reasons, one of them being because Ellen is such a funny person. Personally, I could watch Ellen all day, every day. She is also one of my all time inspirations because she has such a positive outlook on life. She cares about all of the problems people have and she tries her best to help as many people out who are suffering. On her YouTube channel, there are tons and tons of video clips separated in different playlists. To me, the best playlist of them all is "Inspiring People". This is because I love to watch videos of people who have suffered and there are people out there that care enough to help them get back on track. Ellen does exactly that for so many individuals and family's. For example, Courtney Wagner, a 17 year old with brain cancer, was sitting in the audience during one of Ellen's shows. Without knowing, Ellen surprised Courtney by asking her to present herself on stage to talk about her cancer. Courtney left the show with a check for 15,000 dollars due to her contagious positive attitude through her tough situation. When I first watched this clip on Ellen's channel, it inspired me to remember that we should have a positive attitude through life, even if we're going through a negative situation.

One night, I could not stop watching Ellen's clips on YouTube for almost 6 hours because they were so touching and entertaining to watch (I'm aware that that's A LOT of time). In conclusion, if you ever want to feel inspired or want to watch something that can make you smile or laugh, I would strongly suggest to check out TheEllenShow's YouTube channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp0hYYBW6IMayGgR-WeoCvQ .

Favourite YouTubers - Zoe and Joe Sugg

Hey guys! Thanks so much for coming back to see another one of my blog posts! I've decided that I'm going to do a few more blog posts on the topic of my favourite YouTubers, since I would love to give you guys some suggestions on good YouTubers to watch and enjoy. Therefore, in today's blog post I'm going to be talking to you about another one of my all time favourite YouTubers : Zoe and Joe Sugg.

I know what you're all thinking : "hey! That's two people", and you're right, but for today, I'm going to count them as one. Zoe Sugg is Joe's older sister and they both own a YouTube channel with more than 4,000,000 subscribers (Zoe having around 2,000,000 more subscribers than Joe). First, I'm going to talk about Zoe Sugg and why she is a great YouTuber to watch. Zoe is an amazing YouTuber that goes by the name Zoella. Her outlook on life is beautiful and you can truly tell this through her vlogs on her second channel or her collab channel with her best friend Louise. Her and Louise give advice to teenagers or those willing to ask personal questions about love, problems or life in general She also does hilarious videos like prank call videos or challenge videos with her YouTuber friends and family. Zoe re-posted a wonderful one minute video made by a fan, showing clips from her previous videos to show the world of what her channel is all about. (The link to that video is right here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26SySrPnJDY).
Zoe is incredible because most people would think that her channel is just revolved around beauty, but really, it's about her thoughts and her sense of fashion with a little bit of beauty guru on the side. I would definitely recommend you subscribe to Zoella on YouTube because her videos are worth watching, especially if you're interested in all things beauty.

Now, I'm going to talk about Zoe's brother, Joe, who goes by the username ThatcherJoe. Joe is often present on Zoe's channel when she does challenges or fun topics for her videos, same applies to Joe. He has a roommate named Caspar, who is also very popular in the YouTube community. For around 9 months now, Caspar and Joe have been having an on-going prank competition, which is very entertaining for the viewers. For example, before Caspar came home from a vacation, Joe and his friend spent all night long blowing up balloons and placing them all over Caspar's room. By the time Caspar got home, his room was completely filled with balloons and Joe's friend in a clown mask was hiding inside of them to pop up and scare Caspar. Joe Sugg does many different videos that, in my opinion, are all very funny and entertaining to view.

To conclude, I believe that Zoe and Joe are two outstanding YouTubers that you should go check out if you love fashion, beauty, prank videos, challenge videos or vlogs!

Favourite YouTubers - Lilly Signh

Hello! Glad you've stopped by to read my fourth blog post! I hope you've enjoyed my blog so far!
This time I'm going to be discussing about my favourite Youtubers.
I have quite a lot of people whom I'm subscribed to on YouTube that I enjoy watching. Most of the time, random YouTubers become my favourite ones due to the fact that they're presented in other Youtube videos created by YouTubers I've already subscribed to. To me, all of the YouTubers that I watch have something in common. They all try their hardest to create the best quality videos possible (it's their job anyway) and they're all entertaining people that anyone could relate to somehow.

One of my all time favourite YouTubers is Lilly Singh. Lilly - or her username : IIsuperwomenII - is currently 26 years old. She was born in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada on September 26 1988. Lilly began her YouTube career in 2010, and I'm glad she took that important decision in her life. She has touched many people worldwide in a positive way through her videos. Her videos can always put a smile on my face so I believe that she can brighten up anyone's day. In my opinion, all of her videos are hilarious and I can always rely on her to watch a well put together video. She is such an inspiration to many people worldwide because she constantly portrays a contagious positive attitude. She currently has 5,482,072 subscribers that watch her videos as much as they please. Another reason why love watching IIsuperwomanII's videos is because her content is beyond comparable. She is such a relate-able person for teenagers all around the globe. For example, some of her video topics were : "Types of People on Snapchat", "Types of Teenagers", and "Going Back to School After the Holidays". She continues to post videos about events that happen in her life that are hilarious to be told. In example, she told her subscribers about her flight through Air Canada that went completely horribly. She also creates videos impersonating her mother and father (who are 100% okay with her content). She impersonates them reacting to different videos trending worldwide or she has "them" in her videos to play strict, yet hilarious, Indian parents.

To conclude, Lilly is one of my all time favourite YouTubers because her videos are very easy to relate to since she's a young YouTuber that touches on teenager situations in her videos. Also, she is very funny and I believe people love watching funny people on YouTube to brighten up their day. Heres her YouTube channel if you'd like to see what she's all about : https://m.youtube.com/user/IISuperwomanII

A Great Way to Express Yourself

Welcome back to my blog! Thanks for reading my posts. I really hope you're enjoying them!
In today's blog post, I'm going to talk about YouTubers. Not just any YouTubers, but the ones I know personally. If you think about it, all of the famous YouTubers started off as ordinary people living their lives just like everyone else. So, in reality, they all had great friends that supported their YouTube journey. I strongly believe that I am one of those people for some of my friends who've created an account.
I know at least five people in my life who've started a YouTube channel, two of them being really good friends of mine. I'm very proud of them for starting a channel because I know how much courage it takes to start an account and post videos, let alone follow it through. I don't think I would ever be able to make an account because of how much commitment it requires and I'm a fairly shy person on camera.

To me, the thought of posting videos on YouTube seems kind of scary. It's as if you were to be an actress on T.V. because it's the same level of exposure to the world. One of my best friends post videos on YouTube and she's told me before how much hope and strength it takes for her to keep posting them with the fear of being judged in the back of her mind. She has to commit time and money to make her videos (for all the supplies and video tools) and she feels bad if she can't post a video once every week. I'm very proud of her commitment and I think it's amazing that she wants to express herself online through videos. Who knows, maybe one day she'll become a famous YouTuber! YouTube gives the users a chance to express their opinion, their talents, their beliefs, their stories and their lives to everybody worldwide. The friend whom I've been talking about is Brooke. I believe Brooke is an amazing singer and she should continue to show everyone her talent. She also has a YouTube channel where she posts videos as much as she can. She tries to make a variety of videos for all types of viewers like ones who love beauty videos or those who loves vlogs and challenge videos. Here's the link to her channel if you would like to check it out:

For today, I'll leave you with the video of my good friend Brooke singing a cover of "See Beneath Your Beautiful" by Labrinth recorded by Kerri Brown, a vocal coach, 2 years ago :

Positive or Negative?

Hey guys! Welcome back to my blog!
This time I'm going to be discussing about the impact YouTube has on our society.
We all know that YouTube has an impact on our world today, but exactly how much of an impact does it have and is it considered as a negative or positive influence towards our generation?

As I explained in my last blog, every 60 seconds 12.5 days worth of new videos are available for people worldwide to view. This content online could get teenagers addicted to their phones or computers all because they're subscribed to YouTubers they enjoy to watch. For example, I'm subscribed to many different YouTubers and I like to watch their videos every time they post new ones. That's quite a lot of videos to watch, even though I skip a few occasionally. Although, this doesn't mean that YouTube is a negative influence towards our society. It's amazing how much our generation is evolved that we have the ability to post videos online for the whole world to see.

According to a study done near July 2013 by Google Canada, 75% of 1,000 Canadians claimed that they stream videos on their mobile devices and 1/5 of them expressed that they watch videos on the web every day. I can believe this survey 100% because a lot of my friends watch YouTube videos constantly, some of them even having an active YouTube account. I think that's amazing because my friends are expressing themselves to the world and becoming more confident with themselves. They could even develop the skills required to be a professional YouTuber as their career.
Speaking for myself, YouTube has the same influence a television, a computer, a video game, or even music can have on society. To me, this is all because it's an addictive and reliable escape from the real world. When we watch T.V., play on the computer, play a video game or are on our mobile devices, the screen and the content inside can often be distracting and it takes us away from reality. Therefore, I believe that the real negativity comes from our contact with an internet connection. If you think about it, the majority of the people around you don't spend as much time on their phones when they're not connected to WiFi. That is, in fact, how we get on these various addicting sites. Except, if we can control the time we spend on the internet, it can certainly be an entertaining thing. All in all, YouTube is an outstanding website and if we don't let it consume all of our time, YouTube can have a positive impact on our society.

Welcome to the World of YouTube

What is YouTube?
If you do not know the answer to the previous question, have you been living under a rock?
I don't judge, so if you are living under a rock, this blog is here to help.

In today's society, YouTube is one of the most visited websites worldwide. In my opinion, YouTube keeps influencing our society as technology is becoming more and more open to the world. YouTube is a website created with the purpose of video sharing all across the globe, whether they're songs, original videos, music videos, trailers, educational videos, TV and movie clips, vlogs, or many more different styles. I believe that the fact that you can find almost anything on YouTube in relation to videos, is completely mind blowing.

During the early months of 2005, Chad Hurley and Steve Chen elaborated on the idea of YouTube at a dinner party in San Francisco due to the difficulties they had trying to share videos from that night. The website was produced on February 14, 2005 by Chad, Steve and Jawed Karim, all former employees of PayPal. On April 23, 2005, the first YouTube video was uploaded, titled "Me at the zoo", which was shot at the San Diego Zoo presenting the co-founder Jawed Karim. That video is still up to watch on the web to this day, which is super cool. (I placed the video down below if you wanted to check it out!) In November 2006, Google. Inc. bought YouTube for $1.65 billion. I put total confidence in when I say that ever since then, YouTube has become more and more successful. There is around 300 hours of footage posted on YouTube each minute passing and people witnesses around hundreds of millions of hours of video every day. That kind of scares when I think about it like that because this is what our generation has come to. Although, I still strongly believe that YouTube is a great invention.

Personally, I love YouTube and I believe that YouTube is an outstanding network for many different reasons. It allows verified users to upload videos of various lengths, which I think is pretty cool. For example, if you wanted to simply post a video to share with your distant friends and family, there is no restriction for the length of time. YouTube is also free to watch and free to post videos. That means that YouTube does not require a membership to watch the videos posted, nor does it require a fee to create an account and start uploading. We could also talk about the fact that YouTube is a great way to express your creativity and personality to the whole world. As a matter of fact, YouTube is useful in many ways because of its variety of videos. There are tons of different videos on YouTube pertaining to all sorts of subjects and ideas. Therefore, I watch YouTube quite often and I consider YouTube to be one of the most useful and entertaining websites ever created, do you feel the same way?
